My 15 year old son shot his first deer on Saturday afternoon at 6:45pm.
It was a doe.
He was up in a home made ladder stand (mblaney design).
He shot it with his Exocet 200 at 20 yards with a Gold tip laser II bolt, that bj made up for us and a 100 grain slick trick. Total weight 442 grains.
He made a perfect quartering away shot. The arrow went in through the side and came out through the opposite side leg taking out both lungs and the heart.[img][img]

Congratulations to you and your son.
That's one beauty of a doe. Nice clean shot too. What a great way to start.
PS. Just like I always tell my son. Do up your boot laces before you trip on them
They're all the same it seems.
