1st deer ever today with a crossbow!

Post by Wags »

This morning I took my first deer using my new Phoenix purchased in July. Even though it was just a small button buck, it was still huge for me. Couldn't believe arrow went completely through the little guy and buried itself up to the nocking point into the ground. Deer only went another 50yds and layed down. Very easy tracking........ Thanks for everyones help here when I was purchasing this crossbow.

Then........ I went back out Monday morning and shot a medium doe. Wow, this is fun and another clean kill with this crossbow. Can't say enough about these Excaliburs.
