Got a bolt stuck good in my target. Too cheap to buy a puller. Anybody know the bolt and thread spec for a puller to fit the threads on the nock end of a standard bolt? TIA.
Thanks guys, but I don't have enough bolt to work with a grip-type puller without hosin' the fletching on this one. Just need the bolt size that fits the threads on the nock end.
The Dan Miller Plier Puller works fine when employed BEHIND the fletching. You don't have to position it ahead of the fletching. Just grab the exposed shaft aft of the fletches, give a twist, and out she comes.
Just thought you might like to know. I've done it many times, with no ill effects.
Get an old grain sack stuff it with old clothes. Your arrows will pull out with two fingers. You will never need an arrow puller or have to put soap on your bolts again.
