I never heard of a bear climbing up a tree after being shot before. :? But this is kind of funny.

Do you know what a dead bear falling out of a tree 10 yards from you sounds like?

I do.

About like a squirrel hitting the ground ... magnified 300X!

Having been there and done that, I'd say it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Next time, I want to be 20 yards away.

Holy Cow!! That bear might have been dead before it hit the ground, you could see it fading fast in the tree. Also, that was a big bear to climbing a tree!! Jack.

Good thing the bear went up that tree and not the tree with the hunter.

And I thought I was impressed by the huge thud a giant buzzard made when I shot it as a kid. Either situation would be pretty intense!
