sumit vs lone wolf

Post by lucky strike »

How are you fellas resting your x bow on the lone wolf while waiting for
some action?? They make a bow rest and a gun rest but nothing I found for a x bow. Will the seat bar support the x bow weight? How have you modified your stand?
thanks LS

I've hunted ( mostly slept ) from a Summit Viper for a number of years. The bar across the front makes a good rest for your rifle/x-bow. It also keeps me from falling out of my seat when I go to sleep. Did I mention it was comfortable? :)

I've had a Summit Viper for years and loved it, I recently replaced it with a Timbertall. The Timbertall stands are as light as Lone Wolf but have fewer reliabilty problems.
Check out all three at http://www.treestand.com tough to beat their prices!

When I started bowhunting the only choices were a baker or make your own. I have owned them all and Lone wolf is the only one I own. I prefer the hand climber over the sit and climb, as I like a wide open stand. Too bad I didn,t see your post earlier, I just sold my sit and climb to a buddy last week. The wolfs are quiet, dont slip or shift, comfortable, and easy to set up.
