Small game Heads

Post by filsonman »

Just out of curiosity, ny of you guys ever use small game heads on your crossbows? Seems it would be just the ticket for plugging grouse and rabbits...if it is legal where you live.

Judo point work well, worth sighting in with them if your going from broadheads or target points.

When i went moose hunting this year during the archery season,i had in my quiver three bolts with 125g G5 Montecs and one bolt with a judo point in case of grouse.Took five birds with my crossbow. Not a problem.

Very nice. I was in Quebec Moose hunting a few years ago and neglected to by a NR small game License. There were birds everywhere! Next year I plan on hunting deer with my new excalibur in Ontario and will not be such a miser. I missed out on some good eating for sure.
