I've used nothing but hip quivers for over 30 years now, never a problem. Vista makes a fleece one that is very quiet and holds the arrows securely. If I'm carrying a climber on my back I just strap the belt around the stand. In the tree I just strap it to the trunk or on a limb. It makes for a lighter bow and no arrows in the way.

Don't like mine on my bow either. I allways take it off when I'm at my spot hunting.

I have used a hip quiver for my vertical bow for many years and now my crossbow. It's a very convenient system and it keeps the bow balanced. I use a Vista also. TC

I use a product called a Sidewinder. It goes on your belt and uses your quiver bracket to mount your quiver to it. It is my favorite hip quiver ever as you use your own quiver and bracket form your bow. it cost about $20-25. Jack.
