Last chance

Post by ecoaster »

Well, this weekend I will be hitting the woods hard. The wife and I are heading to the east coast for Christmas and this will be my last weekend chasing the whitetails  . It has been a good season. I saw a bunch of deer and managed to get one in the freezer so far  , passed on a few small bucks and does. This weekend anything "brown is down" to fill the last tag. It will be good to just get out and enjoy the tranquility of the woods one last time this year.

Merry Christmas everyone and best of luck to you all in the new year.

Me too! But the stand I was in doesn't exist on my property.
good dream though, I shot the deer with the Max and dropped it about twenty yds. away then woke up before retreiving it?

Same here, it's also my last weekend out, actually i'm also heading to the east coast for christmas, to be more specific Nova scotia, that's where the wife is from. were actually thinking of moving down there.
anyways i've been seeing this 5 does together the last few times out, maybe i'll get a shot at one. had really close encounters with them last saturday and sunday.

Happy holidays everyone!!! and i wish all the luck to everyone for the last little bit that's left in this season
