BEAR GREASE FOR BALDNESS: New Hope For the Hairless (UPDATE)

Post by Grizzly Adam »

Well, when I first read DrDan's post about the wonders of bear grease, I have to admit I was a bit skeptical ... especially concerning it's effect on male pattern baldness. I just couldn't believe bear grease would actually grow hair, but I do try to be open minded, and am always curious to learn more about anything. So, I decided to try an experiment.

This is really hard to admit to a bunch of burly crossbow hunters like ya'll, but I had long been embarrassed by my utterly smooth, hairless back. It was always hard for me to dress out in the locker room or play in a skins basketball game because I had to expose that expanse of baby-like back. I mean, a guy with a nickname like Grizzly shouldn't have a back that looks like a baby's butt, right? Oh, sure ... people were kind and all ... but I know what they were thinking.

So ... after reading DrDan's post, and knowing of his professional training, I decided to put his claims to the test. One of my hunters here on the farm killed a small sow yesterday morning, so I obtained some of the fat from her, and solicited the help of my lovely wife to apply the grease thereof to my hairless back:

I think the after photo says it all.

Thanks, DrDan.

All you baldies out there ... well, you know what to do now, huh?

Good results for a day's wait. Can't wait to see your back (picture) after the end of the week.

Just one caution, you guys better use gloves to apply the grease, unless you want hairy palms.

Guess I should have listened closer to Dr. Dan, and had my wife wear rubber gloves before applying that bear glop ... now she's in trouble. Check out this closeup of her palm that I took just 20 hours after application:

So what do we do now?

Epilady? Lady Shaver? Nair? Roundup?

I am glad to see a true testimonial of the efficacy of bear grease. After applying it to my gloves and deerskin mittens I have had to shave them twice.

Hey you baldy's I have limited quantities bottled up for only $24.99 per ounce.

I haven't even mentioned the aphrodesiac properties.....
