?? How do you remove stock from an excal xbow

I am painting my son's vixen. I removed the two bolts with the allen heads from the stock. I thought it would come apart but no luck.

So please someone tell me how to remove the stock.

Turn the xbow upside down., take a rubber mallet and give the rail a sharp whack close to the forestock and it will come away. That how I changed to my wooden stock.

No, it is a Mark Henegar stock, he is #42 on the members list.
