First, Alabama is a rather large state, where are you thinking of going? I live in southern Al. We have a lot of WMA's. One thing to remember, All land in Al. is owned by someone and you need a signed permission slip with you or belong to a hunting club or lease.

we got the same problem in tx. mostly privately owned land and the public land is very limited as to what you can hunt and how.
