Hello all, just wondering if anyone lives in the lake simcoe area and can give an update on the ice conditions.

I heard some reports of up to 6" of ice, but I did not venture out this weekend. By mid week or next weekend the bays and most of the big lake will be frozen. Cookes Bay will be fine for walking out. I don't take my truck until there is at least 18" or better.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

Guys were all over Cooks Bay this weekend. I'm hearing 4 inches. This weekend would be far safer.
