Welcome, what distance can you shoot in the basement. I grew up in PA and always had a basement, here in VA the water table is to shallow to have one. Sure would make year round shooting more enjoyable.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone,

ComfyBear, I'm just north-west of Glenarm actually just 15 km. north of Kirkfield. My brother and I own 200 acres where we built a cordwood cabin and where we do most of our hunting. Most of the area is very isolated and my nearest neighbour is about 5 km. away, lots of wildlife and speed beef (deer). :P

Looking forward to hearing about and seeing picture of your first xbow deer. Just remember 35 and in. Or thats me anyway. First year Ihad my xbow had a four pointer 42yds. thought geez I hit the target at 50 all the time. Pulled trigger string twang deer jump deer run and run.. run.. run
