Welcome, what distance can you shoot in the basement. I grew up in PA and always had a basement, here in VA the water table is to shallow to have one. Sure would make year round shooting more enjoyable.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone,
ComfyBear, I'm just north-west of Glenarm actually just 15 km. north of Kirkfield. My brother and I own 200 acres where we built a cordwood cabin and where we do most of our hunting. Most of the area is very isolated and my nearest neighbour is about 5 km. away, lots of wildlife and speed beef (deer).

Looking forward to hearing about and seeing picture of your first xbow deer. Just remember 35 and in. Or thats me anyway. First year Ihad my xbow had a four pointer 42yds. thought geez I hit the target at 50 all the time. Pulled trigger string twang deer jump deer run and run.. run.. run
