O/T Travel requirements to/from Canada

Post by Rich »

I will be going to Niagra Falls next month for my hunting buddies wedding. I hear entry/departure from Canada requires a passport now. Can one of my Canadians brothers enlighten me on this. Also, what are some other points of interest in your fine country within close proxemity of N-Falls. Last time I was in Canada was as a young Sailor onboard USS Ranger (CV-60), oh what fond memories................

you will need id but you don't need a passport if you are coming by car. if you are flying i believe you do need one to get on the plane and to get back into the states. as for things to do there is the new casino in n. falls.have fun and welcome to canada

Rich,
Fine dining in Niagara wine region is just minutes away. The area has close to 60 wineries to tour and taste, that is if you like that. Some of the wineries have excellent restaurants if you like fine dining (watch those calories, your on a diet, right?). Dining in Niagara Falls is touristy and not so good in my opinion. The best food is found outside the Falls area. LMK if you need suggestions.
Have Fun!

You need to go to the burger king with the big frankenstien guy coming out the side of it. Other than that and the falls, theres not too many other things.

You'd only be about an hours drive from Toronto.
