On Topic
Well I was not successful at harvesting my first crossbow deer, but I let alot walk by because of the small size and I already had meat from BP season.
Off topic
I deceided that I was going to retire the compound bow (Hoyt Raider)I have been hunting with for the last 15 years and get something more up todate (Hoyt Vectrix)I am still in the process of getting all of my goodies, but her are couple of pix.

Nice bow! Hoyt makes a good product.

Enjoy the advances ... but don't sell those old long-wheelbase, deflexed-riser, round-wheel bows short. They may be slow by modern standards, and they need a stabilizer a mile long to make them lay still in your hand ... but you can do some sweet shooting with them. They're very forgiving of shooter error, and you can use them with your fingers.

Ask Chuck Adams what the advantage of such bows are. He won't have to say anything. His trophies do the talking.

No doubt Griz. The old bow can still throw some arrows in the 10 ring and you can see the arrow flight the whole time.

Here is one for you. Any idea what it is? It is a 2 piece bow with Ben Pearson marking on the bottom of the case.

sounds like good hunting to me.. I took one buck with my xbow that was a shooter. I saw 6-10 little bucks and probably a good 30-40 doe during bow season. Bow and ML season are trophy days for me, then the rest of the season is management. Just cause you can shoot them, doesnt mean have to. Goodluck this year.. normally letting something go returns the favor that next year;)

Check on Tradgang.com,you can have a évaluation of the value of that bow,some time you can be surprise the value the bow take with age,sometime enought to get a nice compound,try it!

Aready got 2 nice compounds, but only 1 bow that belonged to my Dad
Thanks for the info I woud not mind knowing how much it would be worth on the market but for me it is not about the money it is about the memory.
