Excalibur shines at Gander Mountian

Post by Ocyrus »

This weekend was grand opening day in St.Agustine Fla ,they have a 30 yard indoor range for 12 people no they dont sell Excalibur YET  So I went to another dealer and got 10 new product guides and gave them, I busted 3 bolts they had Hortons shooting at baloons and missing, HUM so I shot pennys taped to their targets and doing stuff like shooting 6 arrows into the deers eye and showing off but you guys know that is nothing for an Excalibur. 50 people shot my bow Saturday they all loved it they had the salesman speechless wanting to know when they would have them in stock My VIXEN SHINED They get 5 bucks to shoot for 1 hour you bring your bow!

 You are quite right bstout, there is nothing more accurate than Excalibur. When I bought mine the salesman said he could train almost any one to shoot 3" groups at 20 yards. The next day I got mine together and took it outside. The first three arrows were within the 3" group at nearly 40 yards. I even impressed my wife. That salesman of yours is likely outside right now trying to figure the female knats from the male knats.Pervert .

I watched "The Choice" today on the outdoor channel and they had the new 10pt phantom and they were talking about how accurate it was. They said in 5 shots they had the bow dialed in the 3dot scope. Big deal.. My excal was ready to go in 3shots and about 700bucks less

all are nice.. i just like the recurve limbs.. I see horton and etc came out the recurve xbows now also which shoot 320-350fps

Everyone has there brand preference. Personally, I went Excalibur becuase I wanted to support a "local boy" and I have yet to hear one story of an Excalibur blowing up on someone, save a dry fire. Not recomended! I still cringe when I remember my dry fire. Scared the s?"t out of me.

My son-inlaw starts work there part time next week. He works for AT&T but wants a part time job there because he loves hunting and the outdoors so much. I think it's because he gets a 25% employee discount

Ralph made good shots on the deer and hog, but they were 10yards out LOL also

noticed how he had his sighted in, then on the range at 20yards he was about a foot off. It took him 3 shots to get it right again there(not to mantion how many were edited out). That didnt help 10pt since he had just said before that it was dead on in 5 shots outta the box

but Vicki missed that javi clean, granted it was 40 yards. I probably wouldnt have shot that far anyway. I just love that you cant see the bolt hitting the deer from any xbow LOL

they also called the bolts arrows.. HEHEHHEHEHEHE

Excalibur should pay you to go out there every Saturday. Good shooting!

well i have shot 3 shot 3 inch groups easliy at 40 yards and a jav is a whole lot bigger than 3 inches if they had a x-cal that jav would be DEAD.

that would also depend on the shooter.. I cant shoot very well at 40 yards free handing it like a normal hunting situation would be. Maybe 6-8inch groups which would still get the job done. From a rest sure.. bolt on top of bolt

free handing would factor in greatly if you arent steady :D
