Hi all,
My name is Scott and I'm from Fairbanks, Alaska. I've just purchased my first xbow, The Excalibur Phoenix, which is set to arrive from Cabela's on Thursday. Recent surgery on my shoulder made switching to a crossbow from a compound that much easier to do, since it was something that I've always been interested in trying. So, here I am!!!

Good to see you here, Scott. This is a great website with some real interesting characters, but crossbowmen and ladies everyone. Any questions, ideas or thoughts about our sport that you might have, make sure to share them on the Ex-site. We would all be Ex-sited to hear them.
It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you are not!

Hi Scott--------get yourself a crankeroo-----to avoid any unwanted strain on your arms or shoulders. I bought one -------JUST IN CASE------well just in case has happened more than once and I consider it money well spent--------Lon.
Welcome Scott. I am pretty new myself , but have found that this is a great place for all of your need to know things , as well as just shooting the bull.

Welcome Scott!!!!!!!!
I've been too busy to be online much lately, and had a few days without internet service while I moved, so I'm a bit slow in saying hello.
I think you will like your Phoenix. That's what I hunt with, and it's an awesome crossbow.
Welcome to the forum Scott .You will find the learning curve a little shorter being you already know the vertical aspect .Great choice of a bow you should really enjoy shooting it .
