O/T: ahem... . free stuff giveaways on here?

Post by crazyfarmer »

anyone else think it would be a cool idea to give away free stuff on here from excal or others:-P

I know numerous other forums have give-a-ways where you reply to a post and every month or 3 months they pick a name and that person could win 20-50bucks. Or maybe excal could give away some bolts, hats, tee's, decals, strings, and etc?

Granted everyone wouldnt win, but it would be a cool idea I think. Of coarse you would need to have been a member here for awhile or have a certain number of posts like more than 20-30 to win  Just to keep people from signing up just to win.

whats everyone else think

Nice idea...lets run it past Bill and Peter, after all we are spokes people for Excalibur and they certainly benefit from its forum members.

Thats an awesome idea. That i think would help get the already popular name around even more.

That is a good idea.
I would like a couple of big excal decals to put on either side of the hood on my jeep. or on the doors.I think that would look sweet.

I'd been thinking about doing something similar on my Kayak Fishing in Kanada forum.

Have to give it some more thought.

free stuff

I think it's a great idea. The fellow who ran Hartley Bay marina wanted to trade me a Hartley Bay hat for my excalibur hat. When we returned from the Kayaking trip I gave him the excalibur e-mail address and said he could order his own. He was having difficulty finding a store up there who had any excalibur stuff.

Peter gave me an Excalibur hat last year, I gave it to a friend.. Wasn't a contest though. :D
