whats the latest broadhead/bolt combo

Post by exokidd »

i have been using the aluminum shafts with the nap spitfires and also the slicktricks with good results for years. I am wondering if there is a new combo of braodheads or carbon shafts everyone is using nowdays? I just want to stay current with the latest technology. thanks!
May the scope be clear and the big racks in range!!

Slicks on any shaft of your choice still very popular in the Excalibur crowd.

slicks, rage, NAP, G5's.. everyone likes some and others hate them...

slicks always work well it seems though

Im gonna try a rage head this season on a small doe before trying on a buck to make sure it works right since some dont like them. But ill have slicks locked and loaded for the wallhangers :D

Excalibur has now gone with the Easton Firebolt carbon arrow. Comes in at 285gr. You may want to give it a try.

Wow, didn`t know this. I bought my Exocet 200 in 2006 and they were still using hte Gold Tips. Why did they switch? I haven`t been on for a while ands really miss this site, but I moderate a major outdoor site here in Pennsylvania and it tales up alot of my time :D
