I have a Great White Hunter in my household. Last night, The Bride, while on her way home from Belmont, Massachusetts, and a Red Cross blood drive, hit a beautiful 8 point buck with her new Buick, damaging her left front fender and door, on Route 30 in the town of Weston, here in Massachusetts . She was fine, except for being shaken up by what happened. This buck is a good 8 and looks to weight somewhere between the 180 to 200 pound mark.

Headlights
Yes ,I know that if you could mount headlight, on the front of a bolt,or arrow, that you would never miss one of those elusive creatures,or even a car horn. Two years ago I stopped the van in the middle of the road, and it run right into the side of the van, killed it right now,but I would rather had shot it any time, than hit it with a car or van.

Wow . . .she's lucky. Glad to see she is OK. That's a nice buck. My cousin killed a big buck with his Ford Bronco, he mounted it and put a plaque at the bottom. The plaque had "Killed my John D., Date Nov. 12, 1982 . . . didn't mention anything about him killing it with his Ford.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

Car/deer collision
Hey Moxie: Glad to hear no one was hurt, but that's what you get when you take the "i" out of Buick, a Buck! (Nice looking deer.)
