I had a hell of a time getting him out of the bush!
Half way out I got my (large) wheelbarrow and it still took everthing I had. But man was it worth it.
The hammer was for the axe to cut the breast plate.
Man unbelievable!!!

This is just a tip for the future big bucks; you don't need to cut the chest so far up towards the neck. Cutting that far up will ruin a mountable deer. I did the same thing on my first so dont feel bad. I usually stop at the start of the ribs. Just a bit of advise for the next monster buck. Again, nice looking buck!! :D

I miss buck like that because of buck fever, shot too low (shotgun), and it would have been my 5th deer.
