Good job!

Here she is in my driveway. A very satisfying first xbow kill. I estimated her at around 180#, which is a good size for a doe here. You Canadians probably have fawns that big!

It's amazing how with many animal species it's the females that can cause the most grief...

Sounds like she was having a bad day. That was one smart buck to just get out of her way. "Yes dear, whatever you want dear, no you don't look fat dear."

Ha Ha!
Smart old girl to some extent, sounds like she nailed you a couple of times. There are a lot of very cautious Does in the Woods!

Guess you won out in the end, way to go.

I suppose she was "too cautious"one too few times. Great Shooting!!

GOOD EATING! Although keep in mind she deserves a thoughtful, and well worded grace before dinner.

Good going, BigTiny! :D

180 lbs! That's immense, for a southern doe! Look at that big ol' head ... they always have a big ol' schnozz like that ... the better to smell you with, I guess!

Congrats.

I killed a big old lead doe like that in 1992 ... she was huge too ... around 190, and she'd blown many a chancce for me, too. So ... I know the feeling.
