Ontario Gun hunt Buck

Post by Camper »

Well I tried out my my new (to me) 7MM SAUM with 140gr nosler Accubonds in front of 60 gr of H4350. blew through this big fella at about 60 -70 yards took out most of the heart and left a nice size exit wound. He would have left a nice blood trail but he ran towards the tree I was in and dropped about 15 yards from me.

enjoy the pics

He's inferring that the deer are great, but the pics don't present them at their best.

Click on the link below, it elaborates on this point.

Congrats on the nice buck!
I hope you at minimum you do a nice euro mount since he really deserves a shoulder mount, but I know that those are expensive. Beauty buck and congrats again.

Congrats on a great buck. :D
I was thinking the same thing it would make a great shoulder mount but not not everyone has that kind of money to allocate towards that. The big buck my buddy shot this year he can`t afford a mount because of a separation so he is opting for a skull mount that could be converted to a shoulder if money comes available.

Camper that is one nice deer. The first two pics are just fine. Like Wabi said the other pic does not present the deer as well as it could have. Nothing wrong but could be better. Surely nothing should take away from you and your success! Good work Camper! Congratulations you should be proud of your efforts!
