Blood by the Exocet 200

Post by bbbwb »

I have met with success and the new exocet has done the job. I have always been of the game plan for deer hunting around the London area, "if it is brown , it is down". Yesterday - Tuesday, in the steady rain, brown hair came into view and it was the recipient of a Goldtip Laser II. It was a yearling buck and at 40 yards became the one to initiate the 200 into a successful hunt.
I am very pleased as to how this xbow performs along with the Lumizone scope. I join those who have said it before that it comes highly recommended. Thanks are again extended to Pydpiper for his excellent instructions.
My daughter plans to join me after her exams are over this weekend, so it is on for her first deer.
Wanted to share this with all and we have another 2 plus weeks before the end of season. Good Luck to all.

Congrats from one Londoner to another. No shortage of Deer around this area. I was out Tuesday morning before the rain and didn't see a thing. As compared to Monday where I saw 9 in the morning and 5 in the afternoon. My son wanted to go out when he got home from school but I sucked out because of the rain. We still have a few tags to fill so it's going to get to the point where we'll have to get out there rain or shine, or snow as it's doing right now.

Way to go ! Your first deer with a Xbow is special. I got my first with a Xbow this year - and then the second. Neither in the rain though.
