Browning Chokes

I want to pick my dad up turkey choke for his Browning BPS Hunter 3 inch chamber. What type of choke do i get? Browning Invector or Invector Plus choke tube? I want to get him this tube.

Check his gun for what type of choke system it has. It will be marked. Invector and Invector Plus are not interchangable. Earlier Brownings (mid 1980's-early 1990's) had the standard Invector system but then Browning switched to the Invector Plus system when they went to over-bored barrels.

Don't know which his gun uses, but the Invector was the older model. It will aslo work in older Winchester - Mossberg - Weatherby - and even T/C and Traditions muzzleloaders.

DropTine ~ You need to find one of his choke tubes then measure its overall length. The older Invertor measures 1.5" in length, the newer Invector Plus is apx an inch longer. Once you know that you can select the proper turkey choke.
