Dissapator pads....how to tell when they need replacing?

Post by Belt&Suspenders »

Guys, how do you tell when your dissapator pads need replacing? I have the Exomax and unstrung it but didn't take the pads off, just plain forgot. Does that mean they're shot now? How do you tell when they need to be replaced? Thx Harry

If they're crushed, cracked, or look like they're in bad shape I'd replace them.

Thanks Wabi. No mine are not cracked but I didn't know how bad of a booboo I made by not unstringing the bow first. Thx

Depends on how long the pads were subjected to the pressure from the limbs. I've left one unstrung overnight with the pads on with no damage.
