I have the Browning Mirage and it is a good bow. No complaints as of yet.

Your best bet is to try one out to see if it "fits" you. Should be comfortable and powerful enough for your needs. I bought my PSE Nova off ebay and like it, but I can tell it is just a bit too short in the drawlenght for me (set as high as it goes). It shoots fine and I can get 1" groups at 25yards no problem.

How cheap is a good deal? You want the best bang for your buck, buy a brand new martin Firecat. Fast as hell, smooth draw, no handshock and accurate. all that for less than 500.00$ new with a warranty.

If you want a nice bow for hunting, look at the Martin Bengal. Our archery club got nine of them in for members just before Christmas. It's a lot of bow for $280.00US.

I was looking at the Firecat a couple day's before. Very good bow for the price. I picked up a Browning Illusion for $540+tax. Not bad considering the regular price was $819+tax. This was the last one the Bow Shop had.
