I'll be 61 in about 3 weeks. If I had known that I would live this long, I would have taken better care of myself. Actually I am very happy that I can still do all of the things that I really love to do, although I do most of them at a much slower pace.

I'm a War Baby 1944... I have no health insurance so I can't go get a yearly artery cleanout, etc. Feel fine and born to boogy, but hell could drop over tomorrow and never know the difference.

Born 1964 which makes me 43.

When talking to a couple of my hunting buddies the other day they were commenting that hunting was becoming a dying "sport" in that the younger generation (16 - 30 yr olds) are not as involved as our generation is. In reading the ages of the hunters on this forum it would appear that indeed hunting is becoming less popular to the younger generation.

Anyone care to do the math and see how many years of Hunting Xperience is on this post. :?

As for myself I'm a 1972 model,,,,The wife wants to trade me in for a "Sport'er Model" She wanted a sleek stylish model and I gave her this.

1972 Volkswagen Beetle 1300
"Slow, noisy, fantastic!"
What things have gone wrong with this?
Fan Belt snapped at 140,000.

That's it!

General comments?
Classic air cooled fun.

Slow.

Noisy.

Uncomfortable.

Cold in the winter.

But really, who cares, you get that one day in the summer when the whole thing makes sense, Windows down trundling around, feeling very special.

I know she will see this ,,,,Hee,Hee,Hee

1965 model. My math puts me at 16 for at least another year.
If the thrill of the hunt is lost, then I have lost.
