Back From Hunt In Tennessee

Post by dick195252 »

Hello Every One I Am Back From My First Hunt On Our Land In Tennessee. I Had A Great Time Very Relaxing And Left Lots Of Stress Up There :D :D I Averaged 7 Hours A Day In My Tree. The First Day And A Half I Saw Nothing Absolutely Nothing So I Started To Wonder If There Were Any Deer In Tennessee  Then On Cristmas Eve Around 4 PM I Noticed Some Movement Up On The Ridge To My Right And There They Are About 150 Yards Out I See 7 Deer Mulling Around, My Heart Started Pumping And Hopeing They Will Come My Way I Watched For About A Half Hour. Then They All Started Down The Ridge On A Trail Leading Straight To My Tree.. I Stood Up And Hoped They Would Walk Right Under My Tree But As They Got Closer They Sensed Some Thing Was Not Quite Right And Stayed On The Back Side Of Me In The Really Thick Under Brush. {You Can Only Relate To Haveing 7 Deer Come In At One Time If It Has Happened To You You Have To Worry About 7 Deer Not Just One Or 2 Busting You Very Tense Moment!!!} They Were All Does So I Sized Them Up And The Lead Doe Looked The Biggest To Me So I Focused On Here. All 7 Deer Were Acting Really Jittery So I Tried To Figure Out Were I Could Get A Good Shot Knowing They Would Not Come In For A Real Easy Clear Shot In Front Of Me. So I Find A Spot The Size Of A Dinner Plate Thats Clear To The Deer At 20 Yards And I Figure If The Lead Doe Enters That Area I Will Take The Shot. {I Thought Back On All The Hours I Had Sighting In And Practiceing With My Exocet 200 And I Knew Could Make The Shot :!: :!: :!: } Well After About 5 Minutes Of Figiting Around She Walk Into The Shoot Zone And Gave Me A Nice Angled Shot, I Scoped In On A Spot And Let Loose She Jumped A Little And Started To Walk Away I Thought I Might Have Missed Her When In 20 Yards She Wobbled And Dropped Over Dead. I Had A Perfect Double Lung Shot On Her.. {I Was So Excited My FIRST Deer With My Exocet Cross Bow} I Have Had Two Dinners Of Venison Steaks So Far And They Were Delicious!! I Even Made Up Two Batches Of Jerky And I Am Hooked On That Stuff It Is Very Easy To Make And Tastes Great!! I Will End For Now And I Will Try To Post Some Pictures Latter Today. Every One Have A Great Day!!!

Nice deer and nice story! :D

Looks like Tennessee does are about the size of ours! Glad you scored.

Just a friendly suggestion:

Your stories will be much more readable and enjoyable if you refrain from capitalizing every word! :D :D The mind automatically associates caps with the beginning of a new sentence, so capitalizing every word severely interrupts the flow of normal reading.

Of course, you can capitalize 'em all if you want to ... I just thought it was worth mentioning! :D
