Looks like we (Buckeyes) are in the middle of the standings. Guess I'm going to have to look a little harder for that big 10-point!
Out for a couple hours yesterday evening but only saw does (10 of them filed past right after legal shooting time  ). Actually, this late in the season I'm hunting bucks only, anyway. No sense killing two or three with one shot, and I'm sure most does have been bred by now.
I did find a very fresh rub, so I know there's at least one buck still in the vicinity!
Maybe this weekend some cooler temps and snow will inspire me to get back out. Looked like monsoon season tonight. A very hard rain complete with thunder & lightning.

Well I certainly appreciate the kind words and I hope nobody takes this the wrong way but I hope to not be on the forum next year. I will be graduating from college in june and I hope to be guiding for deer, elk, moose or anything else come next hunting season; far away from the city and far away from computers. It certainly has been fun seeing all the deer people have harvested and watching thier scores climb. (I wish I could have added my name to the scores though but I still have a couple of weeks)

29th place, not too shabby!! Maybe next year steroids will give me the edge. 8) I'm really not concerned with where I placed it's all for fun. Thanks for the great work Kenton. Let's do it again next year.

Amen, thanks Kenton for everything. Tyler and I had a wonderful year and we both harvested some decent deer but more importantly, we have some wonderful memories that will last a lifetime  .

CF,
ITS A SHAME WHEN BIGBIRD KILLED ALL THE DEER YALL NEEDED TO WIN THIS THING. YOU GOT TO HAVE MEMBERS YOU CAN RELY ON TO HAVE A CHANCE. EVEN SCORING TWO OF THEM AS DOES WOULD HAVE PUT YALL ON TOP. SAX HASNT BEEN FEELING WELL THIS YEAR SO I WAS PROUD OF HIM FOR MAKING THIS HUNT TO TRY TO TAG OUT HIS 3 DEER. ITS A GOOD THING I HAD HIM SHOOT HIS GUN BEFORE WE LEFT CAUSE HE WOULD HAVE MISSED BOTH DEER HAD HE NOT CHECKED IT. I HAVE BEEN UNDER IV ANTIBIOTICS 24/7 FOR MORE THAN A WEEK NOW AND I STILL HAVE TO TAKE A DECENT BUCK TO FINISH US NEAR THE TOP. ITS BEEN FUN ANYWAY BUT WE ARE AT A BIG DISADVANTAGE CAUSE WE DONT HAVE 20" WIDE 12 POINT BUCKS DOWN HERE. OUR TEAM JUST HAD TO SUCK IT UP AND "GIT ER DONE", THEN WE WILL TALLY UP THE POINTS LATER!
