I'm about 50-60 mi east of Cinnci.
When I was a kid my dad always had foxhounds. I grew up with hounds, but the best story is one I don't really remember. Dad had a blue tic that was just plain mean. Dad could feed it and put a leash on it to take it hunting, but that dog wouldn't let anyone else touch it. The story was told to me by my mother.
I was about 4 years old and playing in the back yard (near the hounds) one day. Mother heard me crying and rushed to check on me. My face was covered in blood and she rushed me into the house and started gently washing my face to see what kind of wounds I had. No wound???
She asked me what happened and I told her the dog bit me, so I bit it back! She went out and the old blue tic had a perfect set of teeth marks through it's nose! They said after that I could do anything to that dog and it tolerated it!

That is a great looking pup. Here are pics of my Toby as a pup and a picture taken today. He's 11 months old now and a 112 pound beast.
