Question for the Canucks about Bowhunter Superstore

Have any of the Canadians on the board ordered anything from Bowhunter Superstore on ebay?

Their prices seem pretty good but I'm worried about the shipping. For an unlined Xbow case the shipping that is quoted on the buy it now is over $20, which is ridiculous. I sent them a message and Mark replied saying they always combine shipping and only charge actual shipping costs.

Does anyone have any experience with this. Have the shipping costs been reasonable? I just don't want to get hosed.

Hey LD, myself and a friend ordered stuff from them. We had one problem but it was an understandable mistake. They also made it right very quickly. We ordered and had the stuff shipped to the UPS store in Ogdensburg so shipping was free. Our experience was good but have seen on here others have had issues.

I just bought a Lumizone off Mark and the shipping was 18 bucks. I figure it would cost me that in gas to drive somewhere and buy it. I had no problems whatsoever although customs held it for 6 days.

The only thing I would request is that they ship USPS to you as UPS is a ripoff when it comes to brokerage fees.

Yea, Kirk is right, UPS burns you with additional fees! My dad had a gasket set for his diesel engine shipped from Florida and he got burned with $50 on top of everything else!

have had nothing but good dealing with them the 4 time i have got stuff from them quick shipping reasonable pricing too

I'm all too familiar with the whole UPS "brokerage" thing but thanks for making sure I was aware of that.

I ordered an Excalibur Exocet 200 just before Christmas to be sent to Hamilton, Ontario.ca

They gave my their slightly reduced Ebay price (upon request) and it was delivered within about ten business days.

I also bought a few Excal startup items (wax, cocker, scope cover, catalogue, etc)which they put in the box and didn't charge me extra on shipping.

When it was delivered I had to pay the Post Office for the tax only. *** there was no brokerage fee, YMMV.

I couldn't have asked for a more fluid transaction and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
