My first shot with the Cam mounted, what luck.

I wonder how it is with exessive vibration or recoil. I have a couple different things I would like to use this for, shooting being one and mounting it on the side of my pull truck for an extreme view going down the track. Thick it would stand up to this abuse??? http://youtube.com/watch?v=LZJ0YgnZOic
Cool camera anyway...takes great video from what I can see! Just might have to get one.

Last summer I purchased rangefinder mount and put a Sony DSC-H9 Digital Camera with 15x optical zoom on Exomax. Finally, at the peak of the rut in late November a large buck started to approach and was over 40 yrds away and was hidden behind a a large tree when I turned the camera on. The camera lens motor makes little bit of noise when turned on. The buck ended up doing a U-Turn behind the tree and I saw it slip away.
Luckily the next week I ended up getting that 7 point buck, which was the largest bodied buck I have gotten. Most cameras will automatically shut off when not in use after a few minutes to save battery power. I don't plan to use my Sony DSC-H9 because of the noise of the lens motor. The deer may not have heard the noise, but I can't take that chance. If that buck hadn't come back the next week, I would still be sick about it.
I would like to know if the camera has zoom and if that makes a noise.

Cam
There are no moving parts, all the video it stored on a 2 GIG SD card, it does not zoom in or out. The clip from above in this thread was filmed at 20 yards, just to give you an idea what 20 yards looks like. I have plans to film my turkey hunt with this Cam.
