Man what a feeling to finally be able to shoot my bow. This thing was a treat to shoot and so smooth and quiet. Can't even hear the bow just arrow hitting target. Here a some of the details. Mossy Oak breakup camo, 29" draw, set at 52#, using Terminator lite Hunters with balzer vanes 6075 come in at 386gr. was crono at 226fps. I could have shot all day but snow to shovel and kids to take to swimming. Also had to add or change the cable slide to get more string clearance for the blazers. The last picture will show what bad form will do to the novice shooter. You will learn real quick to not grip the bow tight. I shot around 50 - 60 shots and after some tweaking was doing pretty good for a first timer. Near the end I was putting them in the circle. Should be good for moose! Reminded so much of shooting a rifle, as soon as you squeeze the trigger you know if you made a good shot. Did I mention I can't wait to really start shooting this thing.

You'll probably get lots of suggestions on that welt of yours. I found that this grip helped me with my Vulcan that has a 6" brace height. It also helps to keep that slight bend in the elbow you are "supposed" to have as well as prevent bow torquing. Congratulations!

That's how I grip my bow. Plus my Shrewd grip helps a lot too.

Very Nice B.U. :) 8)
Glad to hear you enjoy it. Remember what I say about all hunting related, shooting related wounds: They are Good. As long as they are not Life altering. Anyway , very nice.
Was that correct, chrono at 226 fps. ?

Sounds about right. BU's got that thing turned down and is using a nice medium weight arrow. That and the tube type peep slows things down and makes for a nice forgiving set up.

That welt is the reason I had to stop shooting vertical bows,That is where my dyallisis port is and if it gets cut I'll never make it to the hospital before I bleed out.Guess I could use an arm guard or learn to shoot right handed.Nice bows to all.I always wanted an oneida,SMOOTH!!!!!!!!!!

This is a 60# bow turned down to 52#. I will have it up to 60 by the time moose season gets here. Right now with my arrow wieght and speed I have 45.38lbs of K/E which they say is more than enough for deer. I'm told at the shop by the time I'm doen the bow will be shooting them at 260-270fps which will give me 60 or more K/E.
