Wow, since voting for myself would just be weird, I dunno I have 2 that I cannot decide on. I think I will take a little more time and look them over a little more, man this is tight.

just out of curiousity, why is the thread not set up as a poll? are you going to take like the top 4 or 5 vote getters and put them to an official poll thread?

Iamcdneh, I didn't want to set up a long poll and it also allows anyone to add anything they harvested during the '07 season.
All I planned to do is tally all the names voted for and declare winners. Am I missing something?
I'll say it now and I'll say it later. I am really glad to see all the votes and comments coming in. I also hope to offer even better prizes next year.

Nope not missing anything! First off I was NOT trying to offend or be negative about the poll.... here was my thought process.. if for example you have 30 pics and 100 people voting obviously the votes could be spread all over the place and you could end up with a misleading vote.....

Now I know we're not electing a government here In the past I've seen similar votes on similar forums set up to include everyone at first and then the top 4 or 5 put to a final vote. It was in no way meant to insult or degrade the current post.... for what its worth I apologize for any misunderstanding.

Prize or not I think most of us just consider it an honour to be recognized for a personal trophy we wanted to share with our friends of the forum. :D

Vote for the nicest picture................ does it have to be Deer ??

BAIT PILE WILLIE........... by a country mile. How do you argue with 500 pounds of the best Wild Meat Mother Nature has to offer.

Gutting the Moose, hauling it out with a Quad and trailer, Hanging from a tree, I love all three pictures.

P.S. Now that i voted for you Willie, send me a T-BONE and a broadhead.

It's tough to pick just one picture.

I like the full deer presentation by Schnarrfuss and would place my vote with him.

I'm sure next year the voting will be even tougher.

OK after debating for many days, I'm going to vote for Fishn-Hunter! There were many great pictures to choose from but I can only pick one.

This is one of the nicest pictures I have taken. It is a doe that was standing in an overgrown cut while I was checking traps.

Cheers

I would just like to bring this topic up near the top so we can hopefully get some more voting done. I would also like to thank everyone for all the votes. I would never of thought I would have gotten this kind of recognition for my picture and I guess I have to thank my girlfriend for being there with me to take the picture. It is just to cool to see people I don't even know vote for my picture. I will share one more picture of the same buck with two of my brothers.

Well I think I am ready to pull the trigger on a pic. It was one difficult decision as there are so many great pics. My wife actually helped me with my decision. I said to her wow which one do I pic, I have been sitting on my vote for too long. She said your favorite time of year to hunt is december so are there any pics with snow! And then everything became clear to me, she was right I have a soft spot for winter scene's. So that beeing said my vote goes for Partikle, great winter scene with a nice buck and a happy hunter.
