Just a quick question. I've got a Vixen Deluxe, and Exomag, do these two bows have the same length of string? I'm not at home right now, so I can't check.
If so I'll get a couple of spare's and keep up with the trend.

Well, Bob, being a longtime longbow enthusiast, and having shot some farily heavy ones on a regular basis, I know all about stacking .bstout wrote: My guess is the Vixen and the Phoenix are probably no where near the point of stacking.
I can cock my ExoMax by hand, and whatever a force-draw chart might say about it, I'm here to tell you by the voice of experience that it does indeed stack in the last several inches of the draw, and I mean stack with a capital S. It's no picnic, brother.
No problem at all with the rope-aid, the use of which is much my preference.

You are absolutely correct Adam.Grizzly Adam wrote:Yep, all Excal bows use the same string length, because the draw weight is related to length of stroke ... the limbs are all the same.
That's my understanding, anyway. If I'm wrong, someone will let you know!
Some people just like stepping on rakes
O.K., then, I'll get a couple. Boo if you could so kindly P.M. me a price and may be different color patterns, ect., ect.
Also the method of payment. I prefer sending a cheque like I did groundpounder, and only send the strings when the cheque goes through. Sorry I'm a little old school.
Thank You

I heard someone suggest that he had an excal that was mismarked and it was really a lesser poundage bow than he though he was shooting based on the way it was marked.
Does anyone have the measurements for each of the different barrels
and/or how you tell the difference(s) if you didn't have the sticker telling you the model?
Thanks!!
Pete
