big mountain lion

Post by LV2HNT »

This was sent to me in an email a few days ago, and I thought I would share. I don't know much of anything about them other than I would like to see and hunt them one day so I have no idea of how big he realy is.

This lion was hit between Grantsville and Walker WV.. by a car.

Game and Fish had to come and put him down. He charged at the

Fish and Game guy in the process. Look at his PAWS!.

Thanks Woody, I should have known. It seems like anything these days that features pictures of an exceptional animal and delivered by email is a fake.

The cat wasn't fake. These things take off and no telling where they end up.

I remember the man eating grizzly bear (ATE TWO PEOPLE!! or so the story went) that was a world record killed by an airman in Alaska as it was attacking him.

It's about time for it to get passed aroud again too. ;)

I believe the cat was real. I should have said the story was fake. I saw a guy at work a couple weeks ago who was showing off a piece of paper to someone and talking about a mountain lion that was killed by a donkey!!!
It was a story he printed off the computer. I went back and searched for it on snopes and found it. This is the story: http://www.blackbearheaven.com/horse-kills-cougar.htm

This is the snopes version: http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/mulelion.asp
