John, it just makes sense for such a decent husband to get a 25th anniversary crossbow on his 25th anniversary, am I thinking wrong?

You better stop it!
Your instigating me to get in trouble. I won't do it!
But, I like your train of thought.

I just found an interesting thing about the Y25 stock design. If you loosen the one exposed screw in the rubber butt plate you can raise or lower the rear of the bow for better eye to scope alignment.

Just to back Boo`s comment up about it being quiet ,when we shot it at the shop INSIDE .I would compare it to the old wolverine for being a real muffled thud. :D Keep just eyeing them up while building , like I`m looking for the pick of the litter  .

Beauty of a bow and a great matching string. Congrats Don!

Was there a slug gun in that picture? I didn't see anything but bow and string. :)

Wow life is good, my dream scatter gun is a Benelli and my dream xbow is the Y25. I also am drooling jealous, I was looking at one (Y25) at a local shop here and it was not as expensive as I thought it might be. But still just out of reach. Someday someday lol.

Think of it as a investment. In 10 years it would be worth much more. Even more if you keep it in the box. This idea hasn't worked for me yet with the girlfriend though :( .
