Turkey trailcam pictures

Post by catcher »

I have an opening in my cedar rail fence where game walk through. So I put my camera there to see what is travelling. When I checked it last night I was surprised to see these. I usually do not have Turkeys on my property. But he is a good one. When I first looked at the first pic I thought he had a band on his leg. And I thought this is only getting better. But after I zoomed in on it I found out it is just the glare from the sun. But he is a good three year old or better.

Definetly a big bird. Love to see them glistening in the sun like that. There must have been a few others there if he was displaying.

There were also two hens on the other pictures but did not post them. I hope they stick around for a few more days yet.

My seven year old wanted to get this T-shirt once that said. There is a place for all of the creatures in the woods right next to the potatoes and gravy. I like that one better than the one that says. There is a place for god's creatures right next to the mashed potatoes. But they did not have his size so I am still looking. Besided it gets mom all fired up. And she says "He is not going to be wearing that to school" I love it.LOL.

It does look like a band at first glance.. Nice looking bird. :D Thanks for bringing a topic of hunting up, I was starting to think I was the only guy thinking turkeys.
