Nice video. I love hearing the peepers in the back-ground.. Went by one of my places thurs. eve and heard the peepers and smelled the fresh spring air. Got to love the season changes.

I had crows above me and them cawing like mad and these jokers still were not goobling  .I watched /listened to them for about a half hour.Had a deer walk by at 20 yards but it did not see me for I was hiding in the shadows .What I liked was the big boy strutting and his watch dog partner who had a bigger beard running around chasing the other birds.Just may have to take the bow with the video camera but of course they will stand at shotgun range then  .

Seen a few on the weekend strutting and gobbling. Only been out one morning so far, but the gobbling seemed slow. With such a late winter, maybe they are not really fired up yet. The one tom I saw had hens laying around him and he wasen't trying to breed them, so maybe the juices are't in full swing yet. Hopefully they are come Friday  .
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

Yeah the birds still seem winter grouped there .For how often do you see that many male birds all together ?Don`t think I`ll be able to get out on friday for it is definitely hard to ask for friday off when you are taking two weeks off to chase the birds.
