So Sheena, Richard and I had nothing to do this weekend, and decided to go camping at Tea Lake, in Algonquin. it was COLD, and Raining, but it was still an awesome weekend. We took a pretty long nature hike, and saw some moose.
Driving up before getting cold, and wet
Here are our camping pictures from Friday/Saturday
Getting there at midnight on Friday.... Setting up the tents in the rain
Scenic Pictures
The first moose we saw was at night. sorry the pictures turned out so dark
Here is the Second - Fifth moose we saw. The pictures turned out nicely in the early morning.
These ones were right off highway 60. Notice the lighter one has a tracking collar.
im going up to Algonquin in 2 weeks from today im pretty excited its with school so i will be funny watching all the people who haven't camped or canoed before
looks great can hardly wait to get out there. It's a beautiful park. Looks like the Amber Ale went down well. I perfer the Keith's green labeled one myself, however there are no bad beers!! Some are just better than others.
Be the kind of Woman that when your feet hit the floor in the morning the Devil says "Oh! crap She's up"
You must have been pretty close to those moose and on foot when you took some of those pictures. I enjoyed viewing your photos, but it made me pucker a bit down below thinking of what a moose could do if it got the idea that you were a threat. They could stomp a human into a grease spot on the ground if they thought you were too close.
Thanks for sharing.
