I'm in Montreal every Febuary for the show and all you have to do is stop by and chat.

I'm very busy, but will try to help you if I can...

Post by dutchhunter »

this time of the season when the hens are starting to go sit on there nest shortly after flyng down in the morning i like to mount my jake decoy as close to on top of my hen decoy with out actually touching each other i then place a nother hen across in front off them make sure the jake is faceing me .u most stay a littel longer .sfter thy flydown and take care of buisness he wil remember were u were and a few soft calls will bring him back after the hens have left . i think most people give up to soon in the mornig when the birds go silent after flying down they are still there even if u canot hear them thy can hear u .a lot of times they will circale around u and come in silently latterin the morning. my best advice would be to sit a littel longer and call softly. i use two calls and talk to myself seems to work for me GOOD LUCK ED
