Jay . . .now we know the real reason you are in the hospital!

I use my fence. . . six feet high and wooden.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
Perception trumps intention.

Them block targets DO NOT hold up worth squat with broadheads. Layers come loose, next thing ya know ya got pass through.

The crossbow king and compound king targets are the longest lasting broadhead targets I have shot.

I use the Rinehart 3-D Archery Target 18 in 1 Rhino Block. Holds up really well, even when you let your son borrow it. It has lasted many a shoot and never a pass through. Only trouble is the cost.

Backstops

Post by Michael Stogre »

As a backstop in addition to actual targets I use an old carpet slung over
a rope between two trees. Between the two layers of carpet I have wedged
a large styrofoam panel.

In front we have a traditional archery butt with a ledge on which
sits a rinehart 18 in one target. below it hangs a homemade bag target (feedbag stuffed with plastic bags). to the right on bungy cords
hangs a rinehart field target alongside a small rubber ball. On the left
side are a tennis ball and another rubber ball. Beneath I have stored away
a life size picture of a buck glued to a cardboard box and stuffed again with
a large chunk of styrofoam panel

Some people going by think it is a shrine !! (when covered up). I will try to
post a picture.
