Whacked this pair of does tonight with the 270 using crop damage permits. Both dropped in their tracks, the first at 50 yards, the second one made the fatal mistake of stopping to look back at 125 yards.

More power to ya Rich. Nice shooting ! I use to get 40 permits and summer time hunting was just way to hot. Plus the added frustration of wondering if the doe had a fawn. I would take yearlings in a heart beat.

good job, we have the warden coming to look at some fields next week so hopefully i'll have some in hand. Its 20 in one group every afternoon in a 50acre field!! All doe also!
