O/T How long do STS stoppers last?

Post by VortexKid »

I recently bought a STS system for my Martin MOAB vert bow. I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me on how long the stopper will last.

Thanks in advance

Donno about your bow but the stopper that came with my Hoyt Vulcan has taken several hundred shots and the stopper still looks undamaged.

Its a 45-60lb draw weight model. I would imagine the lighter the bow the less damage the stopper would sustain.

I would have to agree. I assume your STS came with an extra bumper and a 1 yr guarantee.

There was no extra stopper. Just the warranty. Should I be lokking into locating another stopper just in case the one i have gets wrecked. Also do use it when just target shooting or mainly for hunting?

Use it full time. It's there to provide you a consistent clean arrow release as well as reduce hand shock and noise.

Thanks for the help Boo.

I shot my bow today with the STS on it and I was amazed. It was so quiet and there was almost no vibrations. I would suggest that anyone with a bow, crossbow or vert bow to get STS system. It make a hugh difference for sure.
