anyone shoot sonics? and what do you think of them? M&M
I bought some sonic pro's to check out. They flew well and are really sharp. The problem that I had with them is that several of them left blades in the target. There is a single washer that locks the blades in place. The washer is held in place by the broadhead being screwed into the shaft. If anything gets loose then blades start falling out. I switched to the boltcutters and have been very pleased.

Sonic heads
Have taken deer with sonic heads the last 2 years. Both were complete
pass-throughs with excellent and short blood trails. I have found them to be
very accurate. When they pass through animals and hit rocks they do bend
and chip, but they have done their job and the blades are replaceable.
This year I would like to try the 150 grain boltcutters. I recently found the
150 grain fieldpoints at Moxy's near Sudbury, Ontario, and like the way my gold tip laser II's fly with the added weight and higher FOC.

I am not so concerned with damage to the head after it passes through the deer. I never shoot the same broadhead at a deer more than once, not that it isn't capable I am just a little funny like that I don't want to have the slightest doubt about my epuipment, this way all errors are my fault, at least in theory. I like to have as much confidence as possible. M&M
