Got Lucky

Post by awshucks »

didn't get hurt real bad when I rolled my 4 wheeler going bear hunting today. Had a guy on the back like I've done a hundred times before, guess he was heavier than I thought as we went over backwards. No blood or broken bones, he's got a goose egg on his head and I'm developing some interesting aches and pains. Amazingly, the 4 whlr started and is running again after sitting upside down for 15 minutes. Haven't checked my chainsaw, but did lose a good walky talky so far.

Now for the bad news. I sometimes get by cheap when I pull these stupid stunts, but never free, lol.

My Y25 is history. #997 has had it. Stocks in 3 pieces, stirrup is broke, pulled the screw hole near trigger out of the rail.

From the poor quality of this photo, my camera may have bit the dust also. To make matters worse, I just let the co pilot on this excursion buy my spare Ecet, lol. Be careful out there.........

You really did it this time! You had to be a lefty because we don't have any extra or damaged stocks to suit you!
Call me at 1 800 463 1817 to discuss how to we can fix you up, the best option might be to put a composite stock on it, which we can do for peanuts under the circumstances. Plan "B" has us pulling the stock off of one of the few remaining LH ones in stock, which won't be cheap.

Wow Dan, glad to hear you are OK! If anyone can put that stock back together it will be you, that sir is a stock with character!
I would let Bill T fix you up as he has offered, besides, I think that is under warranty.
Again, glad to hear you are OK. :D

Glad you weren't seriously hurt. Bows come and go even though just looking at it is enough to make ones head and stomach hurt.
