What kind of glue do you use for the inserts on the arrows?

I use cyanoacrylate, instant results that never move. The dispenser usually allows you to determine exactly how much adhesive you are using, and dries instantly.
Available at any archery shop, smells suspiciously like overpriced crazy glue.

i use goat tuff, but I found that its not the best if you plan on removing inserts. I had 2 inserts pull the carbon fiber out since the glues so tuff!

glue

Goat Tuff for me on inserts and vanes. It's been said, inserts are almost impossible to remove without damage to the bolt. I melted the end of one bolt before it was warm enough to melt the glue.

I used Gorilla glue on my latest ones. I use to use hot glue on my aluminums years ago when I shot my very first compound but I had trouble with my inserts pulling out. I may not have been using the right stuff since I was really novice to archery.

I'm very impressed with the gorilla glue so far. They haven't moved at all.

I use gorilla glue on the inserts, they stay put . . .I've had to throw a couple away because they will not come out of a broken arrow. I may have to try the hot melt for the inserts so I can retrieve the inserts from broken arrows. What I like about the gorilla glue, it expands and only takes a very small amount. Actually . . .that should be a warning . . .if you use Gorilla glue, use it sparingly.

I use crazy glue for the vanes. It works fine for me, just have trouble keeping it off the AZ EZ. Any tricks to keeping the glue off would be appreciated.

I just switched to the plastic Easton 8 gr nocks . . .no glue.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

Hot melt works for me, I can reuse the arrow parts if there is a failure.

By the way, cyanoacrylate, is crazy glue.

Use less glue, smaller hole in dispenser.

BUT, you can take the arms off the Easy Fletch (knock out the small pin under each one...be sure to remember where cock vane arm goes if applicatble) and soak the arms in acetone for a while. No kidding. I don't know what they are made of but it's impervious to acetone.

Hot melt for me too.

That adjustability is essential to fine-tuning!
