NEW STS SYSTEM and a BOO STRING

Post by BOB VANDRISH »

Have not been that active for a while, and finally got around to installing a new STS system that I bought from one of the guys on this site, along with a Boo string that I had bought from Don some time back.
I fired a few shots, and could not believe my ears!!
This set up was on a Phoenix, and to do a direct comparison,I used my son's Phoenix with the same bolts.
All shots were fired indoors on my 10 yard indoor range
Again, the difference was so dramatic in sound reduction that I think we will have to get the same set up for my son's bow!
I am a believer!!
Worth every penny,IMHO!!

Bob,
Glad to hear you got them installed and got to try them out. They DO make a big difference in noise & vibration!

durability of bumper pads

Post by Michael Stogre »

my first set of bumper pads are still going strong after 400+ shots. I also
have a Boo string with whiskers. It is sure quieter. Probably allowed me
to make up for a mistake on a first shot and get a second that got the
buck.
