I remember when my little girl dropped her first mallard from our duck boat. That duck is mounted and is still one of my prized possessions. Every time I look at that mount I relive that hunt again and my now grown daughter is once again "daddy's little girl."

When she does connect sax, I hope you do something to preserve the moment so you can look back years from now and have "your" little girl once again.

Oh yeah - I sure have lived that sentiment.

A proud moment, nonetheless for many other reasons.

Hop back on the horse & ride it again! :D

Did you recover the arrow?

We did recover the arrow
Zoro blood,it was stuck in a pine tree.
L to R she was dead on but up & down is where she missed

I got the arrow out, sharpened the head and almost slipped it through a nice buck this morning but it didn't happen

Tell her that feeling never goes away. And when it does it is time to start another hobby. I swear the deer can hear my heart pounding when they are close. It is so exciting.

Yep. The fever can getcha. She shouldn't be too upset about it. There will be another chance. The first time is the hardest to keep your cool.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!
